Azita Ghanizada

Azita ghanizada is a regular on a variety of TV series on her native United States. She was born in Kabul Afghanistan her family fled her home country for the US and received the right to stay in the US as asylum seekers. She is the middle of from two siblings, and brought up within Northern Virginia. Ghanizada started her career in TV by playing in several National Commercials. Ghanizada starred as Chiara in the Laura Neri production A Kiss on the Nose (2003). In recognition of her performance, she won at the Cannes Film Festival for Best Actress. She was also a guest star in several television shows, like How I Met Your Mother Veronica Mars Wedding Bells Num3RS Bones Psych and Castle. Most recently, she played a supporting role in the science fiction action movie Blood Shot (2009) and the comedy series by independent filmmakers You Only Better (2009). Ghanizada began her career in the General Hospital Prime-Time spinoff General Hospital. Season 2 of Night Shift saw Ghanizada as Doctor.
